The only advantage I can see for sleeping in different beds is the fact that even though we have a king sized bed, I usually get pushed all the way over to the edge by the wife who seems to not be able to get enough room. I usually wake up in the morning hanging off the side of the bed with no covers because she will take those as well. Even on days that we are touching or that sppon thing I am always dangerously close to getting pushed off the bed and on the floor.
