It's unfortunate that he's handling his problems with excessive drinking. I'm not a Tigers fan, but I'm a big fan of Cabrera and enjoying following his through the year. He's one of the best hitters in baseball and has a long career if he can knock it off.

another 1500 athletes in the nba, nfl, ncaab, ncaaf, mlb, nhl, soccer ect ect ect will be more drunk than him tonight.

maybe 1 gets caught doing somthing really stupid with repercussions every week or two.

but for mlb.... this timing? its no problem

he'll be hitting line drives and bombs come april 1 no problem

Do you think Mickey Mantle never drank in feb? hell that dude got loaded at 5 am july 2nd before a 1pm double-header and would still go 5-9 with 2 dingers
