Yeah it is pretty funny but the charity donation would have been the best option if only one item is to be available to non-pros. Those who care about the points but haven't become "pro" for whatever reason will eventually make the transition to pro or leave the site out of frustration, while those who don't care about points will continue to post here and throw the points to charity.
