JJ I need some help with a second interview
JJ tell me how to rub shoulders with these Jersey folk, maybe do a mock interview video and show me how to close this shit.

I got a second interview with a public accounting firm tomorrow. I'm tired of my current job and this will be a nice 7-10k bump in salary Come on JJ you know I'm barreled in, I can't let it show. Give me some pointers!

Solid advice there. I'll cut out that bible study shit, no one wants to hire a religious freak.

I still don't know what the deal is with these interviews. Everybody says the same shit, I'm a hard worker, team player, I'm organized, blah blah blah. I guess you want them to think you want to start a long term career there, work hard, not leave after a year. The rest. who knows. There's affirmative action, politics and all kinds of other shit.

I went on a few interviews and realized the person interviewing me was a dick and that I didn't want to work with them anyway. The guy ran through people, and I could pick up that he was a jerk and that's why all his people were quitting.

Make sure you actually want to work with the people you interview with. The extra 7K might not be worth the potential loss of sanity.

If you are willing to go to work for a public accounting firm and you are qualified you will be hired. Be confident, and be respectful. Best of luck.
