NFL offers some of the best investments. If you can get +3.5 when the line is going to close at 3 you have already won before the game starts. It's the sport I would recommend new bettors start with.

I actually find the NFL one of the easiest games to beat. Without a doubt it is the sport where I consistently hit the highest percentage of spreads and totals.

But there are only so many teams and they only play once a week. If I'm finding 7 good bets a week and hitting 57%,that should be considered a good result, right? But what does that amount to? 12 units profit for the year?

If I only made 12 units over the course of a season of any other sport, I'd be ready to jump off a building.

I always thought college was easier although NFL playoffs can be pretty predictable.

I've had this ongoing love/hate relationship with the NFL for years now, lol.

NFL toughest to beat as lines too tight

Tons of opportunities everyday worldwide but you need time

    NFL - am I the only guy . . .

. . . that considers this the least important of all the big North American betting sports?

So few games, so few opportunities (comparatively speaking).

Don't get me wrong; I lke the NFL; it's probably my favorite sport to watch; I consider it a model league.

But honestly, if (in some evil, cruel universe) I was forced to eliminate one of the following from the face of the earth -

NFL, NCAAF, NBA, NCAAB, NHL, MLB

    - the NFL would be gone - and it would have been an extremely easy decision. Business is business.
