When is SBR gonna step up the front page plays?

The front page has always sucked for the most part.

Every once in a while Willie will post a hot streak from one of them (which usually consists of winning 4 games), but most of them are just losing touts eager to take your money.

As far as bases go I'll admit that I'm a small piece of the problem. I think it comes down to the fact that very few people have in depth knowledge AND are willing to share it. The less knowledge shared also means the less posters who are looking to get better learn. In addition to this, many of us don't know where to look up relevant information. The links that would help people trying to get better are scattered and not in an organized area. I want to get better at whatever I do - even if I don't do it often.

I am in the same boat as you Dio...here to try learning how to cap games. The info that is posted is great and I have learned a lot from a few of the great cappers here but still have a long ways to go as far as being a good capper. Seems that most people with the knowledge are not willing to share it because it will eventually cut into their profits.

there are many other vets on this board that have been here longer than me, but you have to ask. I see most of your posts as funny jokes and cutting up. And its not just you, its 3/4 of the board. We need to get this place back to how it used to be, more gambling related.

I'm not talking about Posters TGD, I'm talking about the touts. As far as sharing knowledge, I share ALOT. I posted a few topics in the think tank about different subjects such as RR's vs Parlays, Fading the public- NCAAB, etc.

Furthermore, anyone who PM's me questions always get answered, and usually quickly. I have quite a few PM's from guys asking for links, references, philosophy, analysis, etc. Crazyl, BrUno, Bigugly, and quite a few other posters here can attest to that.

I mingle around with everyone quite a bit but if you go into the NBA forum or go into my NBA thread you will see me giving people my point of view on a game anytime anybody asks or has a thread about a game. Not everything I post is garbage...but believe what you want.

this isn't a tennis match. I have not been in the NBA room because it is baseball season for me.

I am not here to cut you down or insult you. My intentions are pure. I just see a lot of the same from many posters and I wish it wasn't that way. I wish the newer posters knew the old SBR that many of us, used to know.

Start discussions about capping strategies and money management and find out how much extra money you can make just from reduced juice betting. You would be amazed at how you can grow your bankroll not even dealing with the game itself.

I don't know it all, but I did learn from people who know more than me, and there are many others who have much more info to pass along.

My bad in taking it as an insult although I still have a long ways to go in learning how to bet on sports. I do agree that more threads sharing capping strategies and what not would be extremely helpful to us newbies to betting. This site could probably do without a lot of the threads but I admit that I mingle in and have fun with a lot of the threads. I just won't be posting much for baseball except for the Best Bet thread since I am new to it and probably won't feel comfortable with it for a few months.

As for why the "veteran cappers" dont post strategies, analysis, systems, etc is for One: If it was that easy to just share, everyone would. Secondly, most "vets" spend a large majority of the day crunching numbers, watching lines, etc. Therefore, when they come here, they want to get away from all the numbers and just have a good time. Furthermore, why do only "vets" have to post this? Most vets do post helpful stuff in the think tank and thats why you'll see almost zero traffic there. People want someone to do it for them. Thus you see a lot of threads within which the vets post their plays.

Why do only the vets have to do this? Plenty of guys that are new to this have good knowledge in certain areas, and also know great reference sites. If they would start more discussion, you may get more of what you are looking for.

I think seeing my "Air Tight MOTHERPHUCKING Lock" plays on the front page would scare some folks off. I would welcome the opportunity though if SBR would grow a set.

There are lots of good cappers here who share meaty writeups. Check out the Football forum. Justin7's sharing some great AFL stuff.

I definitely see where BOT is coming from here in regards to the fact that some of us may be too lazy to do proper analysis and/or quality writeups. I, for one, hate crunching numbers but would do it if I knew what needed to be crunched. With this being said, i'm going to start a thread related to what is needed to properly cap.
