Free Oscar Money Bet For You Guys
Best Foreign Language Film: Incendies +290 at pinnacle

I got a better price at BetFair, but since most of you are Americans I thought I'd give you the heads up for the pinnacle price. The favorite "Biutiful" is a depressing typical attempt at Oscar glory, it got 66% at a famous movie website (rottentomatoes) and Incendies got 100% out of 11 acclaimed critics. Incendies is the typical underdog in this category where underdogs always win. It's never a sure bet obviously with any Entertainment bet but IMHO this line should be -500 to -1000, bookmakers are miles away from what the artistic critics think, and the artistic critics always have their way in this category.

Yeah the books have strict limits on Entertainment betting so we won't be buried on this one, GL.

Probably have to pass on the Oscars after I just watched the public get slaughtered during the Grammys. Public was all over Bieber for New Artist and Eminem for Album of the Year. Goodluck on your play.

Yeah the Grammy's love to do that. I looked back the the Best New Artist Category and so many favorites were snubbed over the years. It takes research to beat the books in Entertainment, every favorite is juiced like hell so you gotta find underdogs, because the books are focused on public money. They could care less if we win with Incendies, our stakes are limited, it's the over priced lines that they make money off of. GL to you as well.

You can name your own price at Matchbook for Incendies, I think the MM was one of those U.S. based guys that recently got the boot from Matchbook so those contracts are pretty quiet now.

by far the two best places for oscar stuff is matchbook and intrade. it isnt even close.

(also betfair if you can get an account)

I feel dumb for having 2 of the same threads in the Ent forum now... I officially jinxed my own bet.

Like it Johon..only reason I can see Biutiful being that juiced is that Bardem is nominated for actor for it and he has won an award already..
