I work for REMAX - if you need any help or info in your search for houses please let me know.

OK back to the soccer forum for now.
I have an agent, but I may PM you what we're looking for. Couldn't hurt to have two sets of eyes out there.

Oh, and is Roberto's on Thames stil open? I thought they shut that one down.

You know...I think I looked at those online. They're gorgeous, but we want a house with a yard and stuff.

Now is an excellent time to be in the buying mode for a house Swede. Good timing on your part. I bet there are several nice houses in your area that have been foreclosed on so you should be able to get a deal.

Yeah, the problem is selling my current home. My top choice is bank owned. It's easily a $400k home going for $250.

I hear ya with the current selling problem. Remember not to buy too much house, the upkeep will kill any relationship if it cost too much and people start to need to work all the time just for the house.

It's not too much house. It's actually perfect. The price is all because of the neighborhood....and the fact that the place has been completely updated already. Sad really...these people bought it, remodeled, then couldn't afford to keep it...now someone is going to buy it for less than they paid originally. We don't need a house that's "done" though...and it is at the top of our price range. He's a carpenter and I'm pretty damn handy with power tools and paint brushes.

I prefer to call those good opportunities, eff the people who couldn't figure out if they could afford a place. They all had a chance to figure out how much it would cost.

Yeah, we're being really careful about that. I honestly don't even want to go as high as $250k. That's our absolute MAX. We don't mind fixing a place up. In fact, we want to make it our own.

Is that what we are calling sex toys these days?

No, but I don't think my dildo juggling skills are going to help me update my kitchen.
