SBR Poker: How Bout a Bad Beat Jackpot
Same rules as a regular casino. Both players must use both whole cards.

Loser must have.......IDK, dfferent casinos have different rules...some is Aces Full of Jacks or better...some 4 of a kind or better...I have even heard 4 of a kind 8s or higher

But, start the pot at say 10,000, so 5000 to loser of the hand (WINNER), 2500 to winner of the pot and 2500 to be averaged around the rest of the table.

Common SBR John, send me 5000 pts for this idea...haha

but seriously, good idea or no?

I think that's a great idea. Friend of mine was in the poker room at Foxwoods about 6 months ago and someone hit the BB jackpot I think it was 350K total. I their BB jackpot is Quads, 10's or higher. If I remember correctly, both guys had pocket pairs (10s and A's). Then it went 10-10-A flop, 10's went all in with a call, turn was garbage and river was the 4th Ace.

Quad Aces beats Quad 10s - but the dude made 175K

But then SBR would have to take out $1 more point out of each point. Some casinos take out $2 per pot, but the second dollar goes towards promotions, and that would be in addition to the $5 normal rake taken out the pot.

Not sure that everyone would be willing to give up the 1 point out of each pot

The Rake is already way too high at the 1-2 stakes. Not sure they can afford this.
