I love Macbooks, but if that's all you're using it for it's really not necessary.

My gf has one. Fcking love that thing. So fast, small, light. You honestly don't need a cd/DVD drive everything is downloadable now.

This thing will last for atleast 4-5 years. Probably about double the life span of a shitty cheap one so in reality the price is def worth it.

Plus you look like baller when you bust this out in front of other people

I said I got a laptop I dont need macbook pro my sony vaio is better, I bought it for around $2400 so no need for downgrade, im looking for some kind of netbook and wanted reviews for the air if any on here got it

I have wasted money on 5 PC laptops in the past, all junk. Go spend 500 bucks on a PC then spend 280 bucks on Microsoft office and then another 40 each year on antivirus. You have now spent about the same on a PC as you would have an apple. I like apple for its quality over a PC simple as that.

I had one previously, I bought in 05, cost me $250. Used it for 4 years. The fan quit working. Instead of repairing, I just bought a new one. $399. Still works great. I didn't purchase office. I got it from a buddy for free. Complete suite. Use AVG antivirus. Free.

So using a PC to complete the same daily tasks, I am still not in as deep as you and its been 6 years.

Well I have had two dells a Toshiba, sony and and HP. I have had screens burn out on the dells, hardware failure on the Sony, everything failed on the Toshiba. Worse computer ever. Some of us actually do more than just surf the net. Apple's programs are far better than anything that comes installed on a PC.
