Alot of people think that this whole show is staged where the guy is just an actor but I say no way because I went to school with guys that look and behave the way he does.Hell,the governor of Minnesota Mark Dayton and heir to the Target retail store empire looks a little like him and is a schitzo alcoholic that belonged to Yale's skull and bones club.If it weren't for his status,he would have been homeless.
The thing is,this ex golf pro isn't a bad player for being rusty for years,living in culvert pipes in the railyards of Palm Springs and having physical medical problems.He claims he was married to a super model that supported him.He says he came from a wealthy family that lost it's fortune when a relative swindled them.So the guys one last shot is to qualify at Q school to get in to playing the senior golf tour.All his friends try to help him but they know he's not going to ever make the tour.They tell him he's dillusional and they even pay for him to go to a quack shrink that just ridicules him.
The guy is a pretty good golfer and is more normal than 90% of the population in this country and very easily some golf course should probably hire the guy for 30 or 40k a year to do something.The guy should get a golf course job and find some other lost soul of a woman that went through the mill and life would be ok for him.Doesn't the Golf Channel pay this guy for being the star of the series????
