    volume?
    hey guys -

I'm new to the site and I gotta say it rocks. I especially loved the jjgold myspace bit. hilarious.

    serious question tho -

do you find more success on betting on a lot of plays or just a few?

I've been playing volume and pretty much just break even if not a little less.

suggestions? what works best for you?

    thanks for the input.

    again, I love the site!

I find better success in betting a lot of plays per day...I made 230 NBA plays in March though I am sure that this does not work for most people. Most people say that spot betting is the best way to profit which I have also been trying the last week and it is working decent as well. It is probably best for you to bet small (or track on paper) and see which method works best for you. Just my .02

Welcome aboard guy, a few games per week will eep you in action a long time. If your $10 BETTOR AND BETS LOTS OF GAMES CHANGE THAT and make a few $50 bets per week and see how you do. I say you will do better.

For me making a smaller number of bets helps my percentages quite a bit. I used to be betting all over the place and would end up chasing the crappy games at the end. Now I place wagers on only games where I see an advantage and call it a day. I won't even log back in to my account until they are finished and it has been much more profitable for me.

GL and welcome to the board.

I like to see a nice volume spike right at bullish divergence on the stochastic. Works for me.

Most people will say that a lot of plays is better and spreads out the risk. But I tend to be a lot more selective and try zeroing in on only a few plays a week. One of the only advantages we have as players is that we do not have to play everything on the board - we can choose what we want to play compared to the bookmaker who has to put odds on everything. So the only way to really utilize that is by being selective.

                    thanks for the feedback, everyone!

I'm kinda in agreement with the "less is more" approach.
