    I can't picture Justin at the betting window in Vegas. I wonder if he wears his polo shirt while he nurses his diet coke and whips out his money clip.

        Justin - Jeff Haney who covers sportsbetting for the LV Sun had this happen to him - don't recall which book - and he made a Gaming Commission complaint. He wrote a column about it - you may be able to google it.

        This happens at Leroy's all the time, including to me. Probably more complaints on forums about Leroy's pulling this than any other book.

          Haney's complaint was with Harrah's if I recall correctly.

            Leroy's has also several times refused to take a bet from me at their current line, and instead raised the line.

              What really disgusts me is that they let BW runners camp out there picking off stale numbers at limits I would blow Salerno for.

                I blame all this on Steve Wynn. When the Mafia ran Vegas and there were places like Little Caeser's around this shit never would have happened. Bugsy Siegel is turning over in his grave.

                      The Palms is a "Southpoint" casino, owned by the Maloofs, who also own the Kings.

                      Southpoint = no Kings games.
                      Caesars's = no Celtics games.

                        This happened to me at MGM except they told me I could put so much on the game at the advertised line and anymore would be at the new line

                          Cal Neva is a pretty useful out. Bet it at Tuscany's on Flamingo. Close to Caesar's at Ballys, Lucky's at Terribles, Cantor at the HRH, and Leroy's at Ellis I, for a quick and useful mini-circuit.

                            The South Point is owned by Michael Gaughan. South Point, Palms, and the Rampart/Cannery casinos all use the same line sets, but they do not share common ownership.

                              And El Cortez, but they tend to take lower limits there, f*ck knows why.

                                That is reasonable, legal, and ethical.

                                        To make up an amount that I can put down when there was no way of knowing whether the line had officially changed?
