I have noticed this time after time here on SBR where the novice low rolling minnows that are out to get an edge by chasing bonuses from lower rated books get put down by the higher roller snob handicappers from the east.
Usually the minnow is from Nebraska,South Dakota or Idaho and makes $8 an hour at a tannery or grist mill,lives in a 3rd hand doublewide and his big thing to look forward to on a weekend off is eating at Old Country Buffet,buying a cheap case of beer and placing $30 worth of $5 a piece 4 team correlated parlay bets.The guy looks for 100% bonuses with low roll overs and makes a $50 deposit at most where he gets $100.
Through free bets and bonus hunting,the guy makes a few grand at most and that was before the gambling ban law took place where there were more sportsbooks around.He played casino freebies,online bingo freebies,online poker freebies and went after bank signup bonuses and probably concocted a few complaint letters to companies saying he found dead flies in his bag of Ore Ida frozen curly fries hoping to get $20 worth of free fries.
Through it all,the guy risks no real money of his own and only stands to gain from all this nickel and dime chisseling.It pays for his beer and buffets all year and a trip to Vegas.

So the big obnoxious east coast cappers with nicknames like Big Guido Soprano and Johnny the big man Gaddy ridicule the hick minnows by slamming their chisseling practices by saying,,,get a $70 an hour union sanitation department job so you can be a man and make a real bet where you don't need a bonus.Then when you win a bet you don't have to drink that crappy $7.50 a case off brand beer and go to those hideous all you can eat buffets.You can drink real beer like Sam Adams and you can eat at Ruths Crist steak house.Or you can attend a real game at Yankee stadium or Fenway Park and drink $8 cups of beer instead of watching the game on tv.

Then when it comes to Vegas the big east coast obnoxious capper complains if the trip is comped and it includes free flight on coach and free rooms at The Sahara.They want 1st class and won't stoop below staying at a resort less than New York,New York.The hick is happy to get a free stand by flight and a room at the Gold Spike.
