the owners opted out of the deal

the owners want a higher% of the revenue

the owners want 2 more games without any real compensation

the owners want a rookie pay scale

all of those things make the owners more money and the players less. The only legit argument they have is the rookie pay scale.


but the major factor is the owners opted out of the deal for a bigger % of the revenue not the players.
