any shops have a hedge on dubai golf?
i have a rather large sum on mcilroy winning at 6.5-1
now that he's in first after round 1 i would like to hedge if i can find 2-1 odds or so on mcilroy NOT winning and a large enough maximum bet size but i don't think anyone has a prop bet on this?

i dont think you will find 2-1 odds after one round for someone to not win it but if you wait a day or two, 5dimes should have something like this available (not under futures but in the regular european golf section at the top above the matchups)

You probably won't find anything until after the second round. If you cannot find a 'Field' bet for the remainder of the tournament, you might be able to play with Round Matchups come Sat/Sun if the numbers work out properly

That's the best thing about betting someone to win a golf tournament. Great payouts but very limited hedge opps

He is currently trading at 3.40-3.45 (+240-+245) on Betfair.
Even if any US friendly books do offer a prop, the odds are going to be quite far from what you are looking for.

can do something like that on matchbook maybe. i dont use it but i imagine that would be the type of thing that would make this sort of exchange very handy.

You could try putting some money on the other leaders, assuming you just want to try locking-in your profits rather than maximizing them.

You'll see some "not to wins" after the 2nd round due to the morning vs afternoon tee times. He has an afternoon start tomorrow so you need to hope he can keep the lead through that. They tend to shoot lower in the mornings due to the greens not being as fast. It was a good call on your part though taking McElroy though.
