Its been a long time since Cleveland has seen a - in front of its number.
I agree with Fang-Banger.

Gotta back Detroit on the moneyline. Gamblers fallacy, just because something happens doesnt mean it is less likely to happen in the future. Cavs are a terrible team, with the way theyve been playing they arent anywhere near due for a win

Detroit wins. They are playing tough. Going to be a double digit loss again for Cavs.

Spurs were up 5 after three quarters, I don't know if I would call that on the ropes.

people have to stop using these terms so loosely. gambler's fallacy is only if you bet blindly. detroit on a back to back and cavs has played blazers grizzlies pacers AND mavs very closely in their last 4 matches, and those are all playoff caliber teams. Cavs are more determined than ever, and has reasons to justify a line like this. I'm not saying if one should cap the cavs or detroit, but this is by no means gambler's fallacy unless you bet cavs saying "oh they have to win some time"

simply put they are favored for these 3 reasons.
1-detroit played last night and lost stamina against spurs(when detroit loses it normally is double digits)
2-cleveland hung with dallas down to wire 2 days ago and are fed up with losing(their last 4 games all 7 pts or less and they had chances to win)
3-cleveland is at home and detroit is a below average team (let alone on the road. yuck(8-19))
the line is right.. imo

People are speaking down on Cleveland being favored... at HOME... against the PISTONS. As if they're some kind of world beaters themselves.
And it's only a measly point.
The better team of late has been Cleveland. They've played some quality teams close over the last week or so. Cleveland .5/PK or no play.

Cleveland should just say "Screw it" and set a losing streak that will never be broken. How about 35-40?

I think they will come out strong against Detroit. I'll probably end up playing 1st quarter and 1st half.

As desperate as Cleveland is, no team wants to be the team to break their streak. Detroit played fairly well before losing to the Spurs, I think Detroit has enough to win in close game.

Detroit usually plays up to competition. Might be a no show tomorrow after playing the Spurs close until 2 minutes left in the 4th.

All Excellent points. Another factor maybe that the Cavs guys are playing hard to be traded. Yahoo rumors is saying there is interest in Jamison and Mo.
I personally like Detroit. Im picking the Cavs to get their win at home vs. Washington after they lose to Detroit and LA.

I think 70-80% of people are going to back detroit ...and you know how that ends
