Is marriage worth it?

Been with my girl for 12 years. Since junior year of college. It took me till july of last year to finally propose. Don't do it till the time is right. You will get questions all the time, " when you gonna put a ring on her finger" from family and friends. Go at your own pace. I will be getting married on 7-23-11, so wish me luck. Not really nervous though, after 12 years I truly feel she is the one and i'm making the right decision.

28 is awful young. Trust me....you don't have it all out of you.

Marrriage is an extremely difficult gig. That being said.....isn't everything worth doing difficult? Its like every other significant thing in one's life.....you get out of it pretty much whatever you're willing to put into it.

For me personally, I didn't take my marriage near seriously enough until after we had our daughter (9 years into our marriage). Once she came......everything kinda cleared up for me.

You don't really need to hear what people on here have to say. You already know the answer to your question. Go with what you really think in your heart.

Smoke my advice is to continue smoking grass during your marriage no matter what... even when you have kids. Fuk how anyone else views you. As long as you take care of your responsibilities... grass will help keep your marriage mellow. There is a 50/50 chance your marriage will end in divorce... if you routinely smoke ganga the odds lean to staying married... probably to about 51/49. GL.

Its nice to hear 28 is young, alot of kids on here can't even legally buy beer. My heart says yes, girl is way too good to pass up, only a matter of time

You nailed it. Marriage is definitely the biggest bet you'll make in your life. Make sure you get it right. FWIW, I've been with the right one for 30 years (3 yrs dating, 27 yrs married).

If you are young then you guys will always fight about financial stuff, but if you are older and both have careers and are established, then you can enjoy each others company and not fight over a lot of crap

Forgot to mention she smokes weed too. She's a lightweight, couple hits and done. She bought some 100 a quarter the other day and told me I could smoke as much as I want

To give u more info,I met my current girlfriend at a casino. She gambles too, loves blackjack, knows I gamble as well. Add to that she's a hot piece of ass and has a great personality. I kno I will propose soon but not in a hurry.

Red Flag! Women and Blackjack can be a dangerous combo. How would you feel if she come home one night after dropping a couple dimes on the tables. Is she attracted to the twenty five and up tables? Double red flag! Are you willing to support her with your money.If she's stuck would you willingly front her more $? Things to think about. I advice to keep separate checking accounts should you tie the knot.
I had a boss who's marriage ended when she blew their joint checking account at the tables one night behind his back. It happens.
