that logic is comical for several reasons. moving on...


i love when yankees fans flatter themselves by thinking people hate them. i love when yankees fans think they're dropping knowledge on the rest of the population. The yanks have the worst GM in sports other than cousin vinnie with the Skins. Spending 50 million more than any other team should lock you into the playoffs every year. not exactly a noteworthy accomplishment. when you have resources that others do not, you should be the best. if you are not, it's because you're not the best at getting everything out of what you've got. the current version of the yanks are spenders because they are in the largest market; that is a fine accomplishment.

The Yankees as an organization ran at a loss of $25 Million last year in operating income..the only team in MLB that took a loss. They managed to get that down from the $50 Million lost in 2005.

The Florida Marlins made the most money in MLB last year, clearing $43 Million in OPERATING INCOME yet they have the lowest payroll in baseball. If team owners don't want to spend their revenue sharing $'s on players, again, whose fault is it.

Hate on George for investing in his team if you like. He spends money on players when other choose not 2.

It is so cute watching Fo whine about the Yankees. They're horrible. They're terrible. They have the most World Series championships since 1990 (actually way beyond that, but I don't want to confuse the Fo)!
