AT&T Pro Am:

- all 3 courses have poa greens. later in the day is harder to putt even more so than a regular pga event because of growing seed heads. keep that in mind for daily matchups

- shore course was only used last year. i wouldn't go making daily matchups there when you really have no clue how the course is playing and who it favors

- using different courses each day makes me really hate making tournament picks where the golfers don't play the same course each day, who knows about wind or other weather factors

hitting the ball huge is a big advantage almost everywhere and pebble is no different. phil won 3 times, johnson won the last 2 years.

d johnson is +620 at 5dimes. if i ask myself, can d johnson win 1 out of 6 times here? i say yes. he's won the last 2 can he really pull off the 3-peat though?

mickelson: +740. same with d. johnson, 1 in 7 should be no problem. long hitter, decent putter, won here before

underdog picks

pebble pro-am is a different animal than a regular pga stop. celeb ams all over the place; timid, shy,unknown pros will be out of their element here. most unknowns will not be prepared for how long it takes and how to deal with this situation so i throw them out as well.

j.b holmes: long hitter, been in the spotlight, tied 2nd last year. 34:1 is a good choice

steve marino: no win on tour and is 1 of the better players on tour without a W. got a top 5 finish at the sony this year and was top 5 last year in this event. 80:1 is a no brainer for me. By the way, didn't he do his playing lessons with the pros at pebble?

I like Rutgers. Not sure what to think about Illinois State/Indiana State. Sycamores have been comatose lately -- do they continue to struggle? Redbirds are junk. No opinion really on Arkansas/Mississippi State, though the fact that the Razorbacks are a virtual Pick is pretty telling. MSU has burned me at home before, but Arkansas hasn't shown much on the road.

What do you think about Iowa and/or Colorado? Also, take a look at Hofstra/Georgia State for me -- very interesting.

I really have no opinion on the other 2 you mention..and yes if I had to rank them Arky would probably be the worst bet of the 3, but I'm playing them all the same.

Just realized what happened in that game....was showering.

Brutal. Had them in the last leg of parlay 250 to win 675. Luckily I sold 100 to win 250 to my brother on that midway thru the Orlando game so it wasn't as bad. But still...
