Not a thing. Why should a man be forced to 'prove' their love for another, on one solitary day out of the year, by showering their girlfriend/wife with gifts?
Every woman that I have ever had a relationship with has agreed with me, that they would rather be with somebody that randomly expresses their love/feelings when they want to, not because they have to do it on a pre-determined day.
Besides, then you have to deal with all the suckers out there that go out to dinner to a fancy restaurant, or go to the movies and shit. No thank you.

Tickets to see 'Wicked' on Broadway in NYC.
Planning on a proposal while we are there (last weekend in February).
Where are the NYC / NJ guys? Where is the best spot in February? What's the BEST restaurant in Manhattan???

I'll be taking the wife to see a Broadway musical (Billy Elliott) as well; I think it's about a gay boxer or something. Wicked was actually alright, but tickets are pretty expensive. Luckily my wife had won the ticket lotto, so we only spent $50 total for front row orchestra seats. Afterwards, we may just hit up ramen at a nearby hole-in-the-wall japanese place.
The best restaurant I've experienced is Jewel Bako on the LES; the venue is not ridiculously priced and we are big fans of sushi. Also, FuzzyDunlop probably means "Daniel" (a 3-star michelin place), not "Danielle"; you could also check out the also-cliched river dinner cruises. Food's not great, but the view is damn good, especially if you get the completely glass-walled one.

Get the one with 3g wireless, you'll regret it if you only get the kindle with wireless.

Flowers sent to her work, so she can make the other girls jealous. We are going out to eat that night at The Melting Pot. It is a fondu restaurant with a really nice atmosphere. Will probably spend more on wine than the food. She is a F buddy, not a girlfriend.

So - What would you like me to do while with my "fiance" (if she says yes haha) while in NYC Chili? Take her to a no-name pizza joint? Taking my girl to "the best restaurant in Manhattan" is cliché??

A t-shirt that says I heart dexter, the heart is dripping blood. She loves dexter, the tv show. Also, a body bugg from 24 hour fitness, she's a fitness freak.

Cheers Chili - She has no clue what-so-ever. However I have talked to her mother and she is thrilled.
Thanks for the well wishes!
