So I have to ask why Micron (MU) is the stock to buy; it hasn't been over $12/share in the past 10 years, which is where it hovers right now.

micron is just random stock advice from ttaylor aka lemart. no reason or earnings reports or developmental ingenuity, just some guy that pretends to be a stock broker who probably heard jim cramer mention the company's name.

JJ, i totally agree. i bet they are going to miss out on a few guys going pro today with the hopes of getting it in by midnight to do trivia tomorrow.
if there IS an excuse then what is it.

Perhaps now that more people are actually joining the chat, it'll get some attention and they can actually fix some of whats wrong with the chat....I know they haven't touched it in like 3 years

Namely it's super slow, if I type something in, it doesn't always appear after I hit send, sometimes it wont show until like 5 minutes later. I can type in other messages/new message, and they'll show up in the chat before my original message did.

Secondly, It would be nice to have a bit of a cleaner interface to it, it just feels clunky, and not all the smileys that are available are listed on the smiley drop down box.

Thirdly, The banner at the top which claims it's not monitored, should listed in the HTML above the chat box, not overlaid on top of the chat box, so I can actually read back more of the chat if I stepped away for a minute.

I'm sure OMG and a couple of others can add some thing to this list as well

First this place needs less glorified hall monitors. Second SBR Chat is a great feature but needs an upgrade really bad that also has an ignore feature. There needs to be a way of shutting off the constant posting of porn pics mainly by lemart5/ttaylor. Maybe chat needs a mod in there to keep an eye on these things? It's disturbing to have chat opened and I walk away from the computer with people over(some kids) and come back to them staring at the filth this loser posts. Do you see a problem in this? I agree with this Obama, although I would like them to get it technically sound first. It's easier to build off a good foundation with a product that actually works the way it's supposed to.

To the point though Obama, as much as I dislike such things, I don't think censoring that is a good idea. I agree with you, but once you censor the chat it's a slippery slope for what else has to go in there..

I would settle for an ignore feature, I'm sure others would love this idea too. Why there isn't one now, I do not know. With an ignore feature SBR, it could stay the same as it is now, without a mod.

We will work to make the chat better. Maybe we could have a feature to vote someone out of chat for say 10 minutes? It would be good if chat could self moderate itself.

only problem with this is(well, maybe its not a problem at all) but people like taylor would just get voted out right away.
