    Tonight's Hoops 2/7
Going to go with something new. One NCAA pick and one NBA pick each night. I had a really good week going and lost most of the profits with big cards. So I will try this and we'll see how it goes.

    NCAA:

    West Virginia PK

Why is a 15-7 team a PICK against a Pitt team with only 2 losses? Well, Gibbs being out is huge. This Mountaineer team is deep off the bench with Flowers, Kilicli, and Jones. Also they should be able to pull some rebounds down with their bigs. I look for this to be a close game but with a wild crowd in Morgantown coming off a loss to Villanova, I like the home team here.

    NBA:

    Chicago Bulls -2

Two things that worry me are the Bulls are notoriously bad on these west coast swings. The other thing is that they are a much better home team than road team-just look at the numbers. The Bulls avg less points and give up more points when playing away from home. However, I think this Bulls team should be motivated after throwing away the game against the Warriors and for some of the guys on the team they will be trying to prove a point, that they have matured as a team enough to go out west and win. I like the small chalk here.

            0-2

See this is the thing about less action. When you spread out your risk it seems safer. For instance, I wanted Loyola Md +4 and the under in the La Tech game as well. That puts me at 2-2 instead of 0-2. Gonna keep this method for a week though and see how it goes.

Portland owns the Bulls at home, very rare for Pitt to ever have an opponent sniff getting anywhere near equal rebounds. What is your season record? I like your write-ups otherwise
