Fumble opened up the floodgates. Pitt would have at least tied the game. I am a sore loser...........again.

It was a contribution, certainly not nearly the sole cause of the loss. there were three turnovers leading to 21 points.

Shitty loss, id rather them get blown out rather then come back, make it a close game, and then get my hopes up. Blah, i shouldnt have bet so much on such a 50/50 game...
Polamalu definitely sucked, not just on the Packers last TD, but throughout the game. So much for DPOY. Big Ben was avg, and Mendenhall fumbled away the game. Sucks.

The game was in balance when Mendy fumbled, in Pack Territory down by 3. Pack scored following the possession. I never felt Steeler could win after that. Tie or get the lead and we are talking about Mendy being in the mvp conversation.

Mathews just said on NFL Network that the Packers D knew Mendinghall was going to run right on the play and wanted to stick him so he would fumble. What a play!
Mathews is a former NFL Network intern and USC walk on.

That fumble was the killer, worst possible time to fumble.

yeah i feel pitt's momentum was in full swing and then he fumbles the ball, GB scores and game.
GB scored only 1 offensive TD on a complete drive. another TD was an int for TD and 2 were set up by turnovers.
i had money on GB for the game and pitt 2nd half so i am happy... but i must say, pitt played a better game overall but shot themselves in the foot with the turnovers.
was a great game though, good way to end a great nfl season

Yes. and if you watched packers last fg drive, he wasnt within 20yds of the LoS he was playing so far back. it was as if he was playing a prevent defense when they needed a stop. the 3rd and 10 GB got where he made the tackle he was so far behind the play it was a joke
also, blowing 2 timeouts really cost them.
i didnt bet on it, just a pitt fan

Mendenhall blew it? More like Matthews made a great play.
It wasn't like he was handling the ball loosely or anything (that play).

I had Matthews for under 1/2 a sack at like +160....also had Randle-el for under 14.5 yards though.

ben got picked off twice, both by solid defensive plays by the packers. the fumble was caused by a good hit. i think green bay just played better rather than pitt giving it away

You people need to quit being sore losers. Green Bay made plays. Green Bay played better. Green Bay never trailed and was up 21-3.
If Pitt had covered it would have been unlucky for Packer backers. As it was, Green Bay was the correct pick even after losing three players to injury.
Green Bay was easily 3 points better than Pitt.

Exactly.....GB is the better team! In fact they lost Woodson, Driver, and Shields for a long while too and still won! Driver can't run but he wouldn't drop 1st downs either! James Jones probably scores on the 1st drive 3Q if he catches the ball...everyone else from Pitt was blitzing and he already got behind his man! Then its 28-10 and I doubt Pitt ever gets close after that!
