Every year they say its the worst superbowl halftime ever, I swear unless they bring lennon back to life you guys will bitch like its the end of the world every year. This is the music thats popular now, its more about digital dance sound and the show than it is about the vocal talent of the singers. For straight singing yes it sucked hard, but talented vocals is not what today's pop music is about, every popular song nowdays sounds like a computer is singing it and for the most part thats the case.
