Can anyone make sense of this? shortchanged 350 points in the racebook
bet 300 WPS on the #1 in the first race at turfway.. was only paid 1000 instead of 1350

    this was the explanation

    # Win Place Show
    --- -------- -------- --------
    1 8.00 4.20 2.80

This track have a limited payout of a 15.6%, where a WPS with a Stake of 960.00 have a Unl Payout of 2250 and a Actual Payout of 1900.00, which correspond to a 350.00 Diff-$(pts).

    Hpe this clarify your inquire.

    Regards,

only limit stated is a max win of 2000 per race on any track

"All wagers pay track odds up to 2000 SBR Points."

I think it will get straightened out when someone who understands horse wagering is available. Clearly says max win is 2000 points at any track. And I'm well within that limit. That stuff richard said went way over my head

            This shouldn't be that difficult

seen a few real money books rate tracks w/small pools to limit payouts, i think they are saying is your if your 300 bet went directly into the pool the $8.00 horse would of only paid 6.80, if it was a small harness track that would be the case but turfways pool are halfway decent on weekends, maybe moss thought you bet 3k across instead of 3hundred

You got screwed. 300 across wouldn't a made a dent on this. Most likely would not of moved it one bit.

bump so Lou or John sees it. Richard admitted the website clearly says 2k max win, but that the software is set to only payout 1k.. this isnt a difficult fix here

Two questions I've always had about the racebook somewhat pertains to this issue. When it says "The maximum amount which may bet won on any race is 2000 SBR Points" does this pertian to profit of 2000, or total payout of 2000? Profane's situation is a great example. He made a profit of $1350, but bet $900, so does he get his $2250 back or is it capped at $2000? If that is the case it would reduce his profit to $1100 as $900 of the $2000 was his orig wager. Second question. If I bet a pick-3 or pick-4 that involves multiple races, does that also factor into the $2000 max per race? And if so which race? For example, if I make a win wager in Race 1 that will net me 2000+ should I even bother making daily dbl, pick-3, etc. wagers since it may count against Race 1 as well?

i believe in that sentence the "bet" is a typo.. it should say "which may be won"

later on in that disclaimer it says All wagers pay track odds up to 2000 SBR Points.

but lets assume the max payout is 2k, including stake, which wouldnt make any sense at all... I still should have been given 1100 on top of my original 900 stake.
