Isn't it getting to the point where the Super Bowl isn't even about playing the game anymore where entertainment shows and security take priority where the teams can't even practice on the field?What are they doing why the Packers and Steelers and Steelers can't practice a few hours each day on the field?Are they conducting homeland motherland security surveilance bullcrap?Are they interior decorating the place with a troop of gay guys that take exception to commotion going on?Are they rehearsing the halftime show where they can be rest assured that a wardrobe malfunction doesn't take place? Can't they get all but the team and coaches out of the place so no one is spying for the other team where they could practice there?The field isn't going to take that much abuse at all.It doesn't have to look like a golf green at the Masters,they are playing the most rugged sport of all on it.
So if the game stinks where it ends up where both teams are impotent and the score is 7 to 5,you can thank the fact that the Super Bowl is no longer about the game but about it being a theatrical production and schmoozing fest where only elitist entertainers,politicians and Thurston Howel the 3rd's attend.My goodness,if they don't decorate the owners suite,Rush Limbaugh might not be supplied with the right cigars or have to resort to sitting in a chair that someone else sat in all season.
