Name Your Top 3 Movie of All Time!
    My top 3 All Time!!!

    1. Fight Club - Fukking great movie.. The twist is fukking amazing, will make you scream "WTF!"

    2. Rounders - Never get tired re-watching this movie.. Great acting, great story.. The one thing I can't stand in this movie is Matt Damon's girlfriend, what a fukking bitch.. Also loved the Knish, keep grinding it.. lol!

    3. Clerks - Kevin Smith's greatest movie.. dialogues are superb, funny as hell.. low budget yet very enjoyable to watch..

i like/love most of the movies mentioned above but the cinema isnt even close to being a "best movie of all time". Rounders is a horrible movie to non gamblers. I cant stand that movie.

The title of the thread wasn't "Name the three greatest cinematic masterpieces ever made." It was "name your top 3."

                                  Read that again.

One word means more than all the rest. "YOUR." It's a personal preference. And if somebody likes "Rounders," they like "Rounders," so what? So you can't stand the movie because it's horrible to non gamblers. OK. I could just as easily trash "American History X" by saying it's a bunch of bullshit liberal propaganda and a horrible movie to non-liberals. And who would care? It's people's opinions man. That someone else asked for. If you don't like them, shove off.

I mean really. You're making this complaint as if to say "American History X" is worthy of best cinema of all-time status? Get serious. That movie was preachy dogshit to anybody with an emotional level beyond a first year college student. The only scenes that last with age are when Ed Norton's team wins the basketball game and when he curb stomps the cry-baby sore loser who tried to steal his truck. Everything else is so forced and deliberate it's ridiculous. I've seen better acting out of a used car salesman. But hey, if you want to like the movie, go right ahead. To each his own. One of my favorite movies is "Over the Top." And I know damned well it's one of the worst movies ever made. I like it anyway. That's how I roll. And because of that, I don't make unprompted comments about other people's taste in movies. And neither should you.
No more of that talk, or I'll put the leeches on you.

I loved Rudy, Goodfellas and Blind Side but those are very well known. Here are three lesser known films that I've enjoyed watching.

                                          1. Primal Fear w/ Richard Gere & Ed Norton

                                          2. The Dead Zone w/ Christopher Walken

                                          3. The Town w/ Ben Affleck (just saw this a few months ago when it was out and it was dynamite)

ranking my fav movies of all time is impossible. There's no way I could rank one higher than the other. The Departed, The Usual Suspects, and Shawshank Redemption. I can't leave out my fav comedy of all time though

The Deer Hunter is a 1978 American war drama film co-written and directed by Michael Cimino about a trio of Rusyn American steel worker friends and their infantry service in the Vietnam War. The film stars Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken, Meryl Streep, John Savage, John Cazale, and George Dzundza. The story takes place in Clairton, a small working class town on the Monongahela River south of Pittsburgh and then in Vietnam, somewhere in the woodland and in Saigon, during the Vietnam War.
The Deer Hunter contemplates the moral and mental consequences of battle as well as the effects of politically-manipulated patriotism upon common values (friendship, honor, family) in a tightly-knit community. It deals with such controversial issues as suicide, post-traumatic stress disorder, infidelity and mental illness. The scenes of Russian roulette, while highly controversial on release, have been viewed as a metaphor for the Vietnam War itself. The film won five Academy Awards,
