Is that Dragonforce in that video? They suck. Good metal bands - Slayer, Exodus, Children of Bodom, those are my top 3. I consider dragonforce progressive metal I guess, kinda like Dream Theater or Symphony X except not as good as either of those.

I'm all over the place when it comes to being a rock fan but metal is definitely up there on my list. Dragonforce is very good instrumentally and Alexi Laiho is an amazing guitarist. However when I try to listen to Dragonforce I ask myself, why not just listen to Iron Maiden? As for COB, I think they need to ditch the keyboards and show off some of their raw guitar skills.

Megadeth, In Flames, & COB are all on tour together now. I don't know if i'll make it this year since they are playing 5 hrs away from me but I've always wanted to see Megadeth live.

Metallica stopped being good after And Justice For All imo. If you want to get technical the Black album was solid but you could see it was the beginning of the end. Is it me? On the last couple of Metallica albums there are some songs where James just ends his notes with a really gay laugh.

I want to see Iron Maiden and might head to Texas a little early just to catch the show. My other option is to see them in NJ. I might do both, I might do one or the other, but I really really want to see Maiden for the first time.

Slipknot is another band I really want to see & they will be touring with Dragonforce this summer.

Pantera is probably my favorite metal band of all-time and out of all the bands I mentioned they are the closest thing to Power Metal. It's a shame we will never see them again. RIP Dime.

Let me also add that Coheed and Cambria is getting better with each cd they release. I would classify them more as progressive rock but they definitely have some metal riffs in there as well.
