#18Usually only tools have them. I mean yeah its "cool" the first time you try it, but why do you want your car running while you are not in it anyway? The only possible use would be to warm up or cool down the car if you are parked outside and don't want to get in right away. I guess thats why I would have it. There is this guy next door that has it and everyday he remote starts it as hes walking to his car, Its on for 30 seconds before he gets in, whats the point?Comment -

#23Aside from having a heated interior in the winter and a cool interior in the summer it is also very important to let your engine warm up before driving. When you start your car it takes several minutes for the oil to heat up and thin out and lubricate your engine (this is especially important in the winter time since cold oil is much thicker). Oil settles to the bottom of your engine when the car is not running when you start your engine it is running dry until oil is cycled through the engine, driving before your engine is lubricated causes unnecessary wear.Originally posted by NrmlCurvSurfrUsually only tools have them. #28well... if it is 95 degrees outside, a lot of people will start the car to let the AC run. And, I don't know how your car / AC work but as a general rule of thumb the AC / compressor work better with the car running...Originally posted by jgray
