Capitalist pig is dead on. It is a lot different. I didn't like it at first but I'm getting used to it. Mo as I see him is an upstanding guy. Justin and BBD are too. I"m glad I found this place and I try to help where I can. I know there are a lot more brighter people than me. Just reading a Ganch post can make your head hurt..... but that isn't a bad thing either.

the traffic is good for the site and more posters/activity should allow SBR to give away more shit. thats good for everyone, the problem is trying to keep the hardcore guys happy and the younger people who love to gamble and also flirt/bs/or whatever else. sbr has opened 2 new forums to try and keep the people happy, but maybe there is something else that can be done. there are FAR more ideas that have not been thought of than those that have. whats the plan?



as for the facebook/myspace. mysbr will be coming soon which will allow people to express themselves freely and hopefully have a lot of people get some spotlight to show their stuff. the want to make this place the best is here....the minds are here, the talent is here, sbr just needs to smooth over any rough edges and thats where the ideas come in. the more the better.

pags is a good man and i didnt even know he was here until i saw him a couple months back. he told me about some things that went on, we spoke, he was cool as always, and i was pleased when he said he'd come back. i dont know what happened before, but im sure the same stuff wont happen again. i know many of us are excited for NCAAF

I know its a little fast now and some good threads sometimes are lost in the chatter. Give things a little time. I know everyone at SBR is trying.

'benzer' used to be one of my largest supporters on the forums until he thought he figured out some big SBR mofome ghosting plot. this place is as active as any forum, thats a good thing. now we have to channel all of the activity to places that are the most productive, and bring back some of what was lost at the same tie. thats doable.

I really don't care either way. Both versions of the main forum had/have their good points and bad points.

But what I don't fully understand is this business of "traffic".

If I'm an advertiser, do I really care if the same 30 people are posting 20 times a month, or 2000 times a month? I'm still only reaching those 30 people.

Do advertisers think that many more lurkers are silently flocking to, and observing, the main forum because the same 30 people are posting much more often?
