I do think its totally distasteful. I just think the setting of "poker chat" is going to be a difficult arena to monitor inappropriate comments.

But going after people relentlessly and hunting them down in threads over and over gets to be a bit much. Not everyone has a thick skin and even though most of us know 'that's just Bateman', its not really fair to those who take it to heart. Go after someone a few times and make your point. There's no need to continue it for ages and potentially have them leave the site for good because they can't post without being harassed. Not really conducive to a friendly environment and definitely doesn't help SBRs bottom line when people are chased away.

We don't exactly moderate posters by if they make the company money. I think the staff does a good job moderating when needed and this is one of those times its needed, unfortunately. Pat is trying to get banned at this point and I think he found something he succeeded in.

You see if he drives away a couple posters away with his antics everyday and these posters could have brought more posters in the future then he causes lost sign ups to books through the SBR affiliated links.
