1st in a $3 2200 man tourney on stars for approximately 1k (id Blackwizzar3)
about 1k in cash game winnings on full tilt account (3fingerbowe)

the more points, the less likely i am to bust, 1,000 points would be good but i'll still be +ev with less. I'll be playing the lowest stake available even with a 1,000 points to lessen risk of bust.

say you staked me 500 points, if i ended with 1500, you'd get your 500 points back which is stakeback, then you'd get 65% of the profits which would be 650 of the 1,000. so you'd have 1150 points returned to you in that scenario.

if i lost (which isn't likely if i have a 5 plus buyins) but if i do then you'd be out your points unfortunately

Seems like it's a good deal for the player, because it's risk-free.

Pretty risky for me, but I've always regretted missing out on the poker stuff. I'd try my hand at it, but I don't really know how to play. I tried once and accidentally went all in with no hand (not even a pair).

i'd say its a pretty good deal for us both, no risk for me but i'm playing in a game i should be able to clean up easily in and i'm giving 65% back which is a larger than normal return.

sorry should of made that clear, this will go all february during championships and open play

(over a month long period risk of ruin is very low) which is why i would do it that way

if the stake has increased and you want some stakeback before the inflation date just ask and you can probably get stakeback back. It doesn't increase till like the 14th right? hopefully i will have doubled the funds by then and then it would be no problem to do stakeback. (by stakeback i mean your initial investment of 800)

Inflation hits on 2/15, so what I'm doing now is using the sportsbook to build my points up, and then I'll cash out almost all of it (leaving a few hundred behind) on 2/14.

As long as I can fight off any potential blackjack urges, I should be in good shape.
