It happens. Greg Wohler's, closer for Atlanta Braves all of a sudden couldn't get it over the plate a few years back aand faded into oblivion.

Embarrassing 71 at Dubai.
Needed a miracle eagle on 18 just to make the round respectable.
Tiger, once the generations best golfer is officially a hack, did you see that chip shot?
It was in his terms 'awful'.
I shoot 88's and I could have chipped that to three feet of the pin.
He's done, washed up, finished, a hack.
Shoots 71 on that pitch and putt desert course, when he used to shoot 65's in his sleepwalk.
I'm not a hater, just a realist.

Unreal isn't it, golf is so much about the mental edge and strong will. Was at Leadbetter's facily 2 yrs ago and watched guys hitting next to pga tour pro's..they could hit the ball amazingly well...it's about doing it consistently. Not sure he is done though, he has a great swing guru and still in awesome shape. For him to mess around with as many girls as he did might of been something he can't overcome for some time. It really did a number on him and cost him his marriage/kids. I always thought he was swinging to fast/hard and he had that nasty dip of his head on the dwonswing that cause all sorts of bad stuff.

If he can put together two more sub 70's I'll eat my words and take them back.
I'll put up 10 points to the first posters 15 in this thread that says otherwise.
OK Tiger lovers, your ten points to my 15 that says Tiger doesn't shoot two more sub 70 rounds this tourney.

You guys are just going to keep saying the same thing.
He always has one good round....or
He always has one bad round...or
There's always that one swing that cost him.
Give me a fukking break. He's a Top 5 golfer in the world and he's played like dogshit the past 15 months. He's turned the corner and if he doesn't win this week, it won't be long. For those that say "Tiger doesn't have it anymore" - you obviously know nothing about the game of golf or have ever played recreationally or competitively.

Put your money where your mouth is. Tiger's performance has been horrible, should be plenty of opportunity for the "he'll be back, just wait and see" crowd to make some coin.
I have low expectations for athletes coming back from steroids and I firmly believe Tiger was on steroids.
And his mental state is completely fried. He spent 40 days in a sex rehab. Are you f'ing kidding me? Think about what he was doing during any 40 days of his prime - golf, sex, golf, sex, golf, sex, ambien, golf, sex, golf, sex.
The machine is broke. And it ain't getting fixed over night, he'll be a non-factor at the Masters.
Again, if you believe I invite you to wager on his impending comeback.

Tiger just doesn't have the killer instinct like he used to......Plus the other golfers around him are better now compared to 10 years ago......Tiger says he's working on his new swing. He may be in a phase of his game right now.

I already have put my money where my mouth is. I took Woods over Kaymer in a tournament matchup this week for 2 units (posted in my golf thread).
There still isn't value in betting him TO WIN tournaments, nor will there ever be until he is done playing.

Moving day, the day Tiger makes his move.
Shows the world he's back.
What's he do today?
The hack shoots ho-hum 72 on that putt-putt desert course.
Way to make a move Tiger, you PoS.

Nobody took my prop bet, that the has-been wouldn't shoot back to back sub 70's on that kiddie course.
Even the water carrying Tiger lovers know he's washed up.

World #1 Lee Westwood also shot a 72.
World #2 Martin Kaymer shot a 76.
World #7 Rory McIlroy, (the leader after 36) shot a 75.
Sergio Garcia, one stroke back to start the day, shot a 75.
Tiger was 4 back of the leaders to start the day, now he's just one. Sounds like he made a move to me.
So quit your bitching.
No more of that talk, or I'll put the leeches on you.

How many tourneys has the fraud won coming from behind on a Sunday?
The only way this hack can win any tourney is going into a Sunday with a lead.
Tomorrow won't be any different.

You guys are morons. Since when do you have to shoot 65 on Saturday to make a move up the leaderboard? Since none of us are even close to Dubai, I'm assuming the wind picked up and, therefore, dried the greens out making them slick as hell.
Looks like my Woods o/ Kaymer is in the bank!

Once again Tiger proves that if he's not on top of the leader board Sunday morning he will not win.
He's never was, and never will be a come from behind golfer.
Could have shut critics up today.
On a pitch and putt course, the duffing, hacking fraud that is Tiger shot a miserable 75.
Kaymer had his lunch today, shooting 70.
I don't want to here it Tiger lovers, there were a lot of rounds in the 60's today, the phony Tiger stunk it up.
He's a hack, has been.
Done.
Deal with it.

Tiger at one time was the best at what he did.
So was Mike Tyson.
So was Mark McGuire.
The list of athletes that were on top once and turned into crap is endless.
Tiger joins the Tyson, Big Mac, etc. etc. list of once good athletes that turned into crap.
He finished 20th on a course tailored to Tiger's strength's and the best he could do is 20th?

There were? 11 out of 71 rounds were in the 60s and 6 of those were 69's. I wouldn't consider that "A LOT" of rounds in the 60s. Westwood shot 72, McIlroy shot 74, Sergio shot 75 - wind was blowing and it was a much tougher golf course than Thurs/Fri.
Oh, cash my Tiger o/ Kaymer play too.
