Coworker Is weird

Dungeons and Dragons is actually fun. Basically you are a character and everyone else is a character. One person leads the game, he is called the Dungeon Master. He uses books to tell a story and lead all the players through an adventure. You gain points for different things and can enhance your character in a lot of ways. You get different weapons, spells, things like that. Its extremely nerdy but actually fun. Give it a try man, if you dont like it, just dont go back.

I love Dungeons and Dragons but had to stop playing. I was basically addicted. I would play everyday and night and it became a real problem. I know it sounds stupid but I would get so into the game it would affect my mood and relationships. All I did was play D&D all day. So i stopped playing. I would love to play with you but I cant go down that road again. D&D for life bro."

Just ask him if it will be ok for you to bring over all of your Amway stuff and talk to the gang at the first game of D&D. That should put the brakes on him wanting you in his little group.

Dungeons and Dragons people really, really freak me out.

Unless you want to be hanging around with a bunch of other dudes (and an occasional female who only slightly resembles a female), you probably want to steer clear.

Something else to keep in mind as we are passing judgment on the nerds of the world. I am sure many people would look at the lot of us posting on a message board every day and think that we are a bunch of freaks as well.

We are rolling dice to see if I attend 3 meetings or not. The guy goes if I win. You go 3 times and I'll make a character for you. If you win, you don't have to come unless you want to. And I get the company tickets he won to the company suite for baseball season all season long. I have a half day tomorrow so before I leave, we are rolling in my office.

Here is the weird part, this guy doesn't look like anyone in those pics. He's like normal. Not weird. Here is where it gets stranger. Some manager like 2 levels above me in another division of our company...attends this stuff. Division im looking at transfering to once I complete the degree...

But anyways, I always liked Star Wars, and Lords of the ring was a good movie.

So anyways we are rolling best out of 5. Highest wins. But I alwyas thought DnD ppl looked like guys from those pics... for sure...or women who look like men from them pics...

PS anyone know where you can buy weighted dice? I'm on a deadline.

He was new, so I invited him and his gf to come to 21 with about 9 of our friends...went to the bar, hit the casino and called it a night. Guy is a new person to our department/team. So was just being nice is all.

There is a guy at my work that picks his nose all day, walks like a penguins, has those glasses that change color in the sun, twists his chest hair when talking to people, when not working has his finger in his belly button, been seen playing pocket pool and has a voice that a gay dude would say, "that's the gayest dude alive."

i think hes about a week from being fired.

Kellen is right here...Not only for nerds, I never understood it much, but had some friends that played years ago and now they are some of the coolest cats I know....Dont play if it freaks you a bit, but I wouldnt say dude is a total loss if he plays......
