In the history of the NBA, has any NBA champs ever lost to a team at home as dismal as the pathetic Kings at home

It is the NBA, anything is possible.
Wizards gave the Thunder a hard time at OKC. They almost had them, and they are 0-22 on the road.

The Lakers don't take the regular season serious. It will cost them in the post-season. Maybe Jerry West was right. It's an old team.

lakers must have went in the locker room at halftime and checked the C's score and decided that they didn't feel like trying either.

I bet my money on the Lakers. I know the Kings can play tough, I wasn't expecting the Kings to be doing the beat down!

In the NBA when you put no effort in on D, you will get beat.

This is why I don't like the NBA: college kids might be inconsistent, but they know every game is a must win either for seeding or to get off the bubble. NBA players literally take games off, like there are actual games where they don't care if they win.

The funny sh1t about this, I thought about taking the Kings all day but the Lakers were playing way too dominant lately. Instead, I took the Lakers in 2nd half thinking they should at the very least capable of pulling out a 5 point win

Motivation is a big factor in these games. What do the Lakers haveto prove, they are the champs, they are going to the playoff, they are not going to get up for playing the Kings.

Celtics also played the late game last night, and played imo their worst 1st half of basketball all year.

Losing to one of the League's worst on your home floor is bad enough. Especially when SoCal likes to put it on Nor Cal face with a Laker win.

I love the excuses for a Lakers loss. It is always about "What they have to prove", or "The regular season means nothing".
But when they are on a 10 game win streak, it is all golden and they are doing what they are suppose to.
It is a "win win" situation for you Laker fans, eh?

I am no Laker fan and I am not trying to defend them, but this game shouldn't be a surprise, the Lakers have pulled this crap for years.

Just excuses for the Laker fans out there. So they can feel better about the losses. I'm sure the Lakers would love to go 82-0 if they could.

What would they get for going 82-0? Lakers dont put out full effort in the reg season- they are known to be fade material on spreads at home. This is a game for Laker haters to feel better about and think back on when they see the Lakers in the finals again.
