Got my bookmaker sports pager today
Got the sports pager today, which they shipped out very fast as I only requested it on Sunday. Anyway, it's really fukin cool, I think that all sports gamblers should have one. I know that cell phones can get sports scores now, but you have to go through a series of operations to get them, the sports pager is always on and you just press the green button and it's got a box for each different sport there are scores for you select the box you want and it shows all the scores for that sport. That's pretty damn convenient and fast rather than fukin around with ur cell phone. Anyway, it's basically free with 8000 bookmaker pts you get not only a sports pager for free but also a 100 freeplay so it's a really good deal. I just want to say this bookmaker is my favorite sportsbook BUT they charge to much for payouts which is why I don't use them as much as I would otherwise. 50 bucks for FedExing a payout is just too much in my opinion and the reg. mail check takes 3 weeks to get to ya and you sit there worrying if half ur bankroll is lost in the mail or not in the mean time.

Ive been thinking about getting this, what model is it? Motorola? It stays active as long as you are playing there? What kind of delay on scores? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to decide if I want it or not.

Mine says it's USAMOBILITY brand pager, not sure what the model number is, but it's called a Sports Page and the number for the company is 1800TOSPORTS and it's got a fairly good sized screen on the front with backlighting so it's perfect if u want to quietly glance down during dinner or a movie to see if you should be pissed or not at your team. I don't have any idea what the delay is but it's not much b/c I just lost a bet on Mil/Chi game right as I was opening it and it already had the final score 8-2 on there so not sure exactly but no more than 5 mins, it also has play-by-play for baseball as well and the Bookmaker lines on there. I haven't even thought about pagers in years as cell phones have taken over but the pagers nowadays have a fairly widescreen which is backlit and very clear on the front which displays 4 lines of info and you just scroll up and down for all the scores or you press left right to select whether you want to look at scores/lines/play-by-play etc.. I really have to say if you have a bookmaker account and you're a frequent sports gambler this is a definite must have as it's only 8000 pts for both a 100 freeplay AND the sports pager (for comparison for 4000 pts they give ya 50 freeplay and a mouse pad) and you'll have it in your hands in like three days.

The delay does not even appear to be 5 mins, on NBA games it is around a 1 1/2-2 min delay, so very fast updating. Plus you can't go wrong with the price if you get it through bookmaker.

Sounds pretty cool. I always thought about exchanging my points for one of these, but I really did't know what to expect. Just a quick question...Are there monthly fees or any type of activation fees associated with this?

              Thanks for any info!

Thanks for the info. Now I'm going to see about getting one. Like others, I was interested, but wasn't sure. It does sound pretty cool.

It really is a cool gadget and there are no fees, but bookmaker requires you to keep your sportsbook account "active", which apparently means 1 or 2 bets a week and they will pay the monthly fee for you, if you don't use your bookmaker account for a month or so I guess they cut you off and you would have to pay the fee yourself ($10/month according to DSI).

To give you a better idea of what it's like I checked on eBay and found a sports pager which is pretty much identical to the one you'll get from bookmaker with the exception that the bookmaker one does not have Motorola across the top, but other than that they are identical.

It advertises no fees ever, so maybe the deal about bookmaker paying your monthly service fee as long as your account remains active is just trying to keep you playing on their site or maybe the USAMOBILITY pager uses a different service that has a monthly charge (which would make sense as it comes with Bookmaker's betting lines), I'm not sure. Anyone out there with a bookmaker pager that's taken a break from bookmaker for awhile know if the sports pager service gets turned off or not?

Hmm... I wonder if you got tired of it, if you could sell it on Ebay for $59.99 too... Not that you would, just curious...

The bookmaker pager is pure whoreshit. No MLB or World Baseball Classic scores. Unreal.

It doesn't take any gambling actually Just meet all the payout requirements and request it for 3000 or less and you'll be good to have them. Now, you must remember something, you can have 2 free payouts every 30 days meaning that, for example, you got the first one today 03/07 the next 30 days count will start on 04/07, any day between those two dates will be good for you to request the 2nd free payout following the regulation of the 7 day period in-between payouts and everything else such as rollover and limits for you to have it for free.
