Line says a lot. Should have opened at Dal -7.5, not Dal- 5.5.. Play is on Houston and the points.

The last couple of times I've watched the Mavericks, I personally feel as they have started sluggishly. They started off slowly against a Clipps team without Eric Gordon and needed a very strong half(and a Griffin injury) to cover. I'm not sure they can do that against the Rockets. I'm leaning Rockets+5.5 as my pick, but I am slightly worried about Kevin Martin's struggles in Dallas.

No, it doesn't. Books are aware of Dallas home struggles hence why the line opened so low. That was huge mistake since it was pounded up to 6.5 and juiced.

Houston's main scorers have tough matchups tonight. Stevenson did a very good job against MArtin in the first game this season, I expect this to continue. Same thing with Dirk and SCola.

Lol @ "huge mistake." Lines move 1.0+ points every day. Does that mean every line that moves one point off the opener was a blatant miscalculation by the line-setter?? Obv not...

In this case we can assume that the line was pushed off the opener due to heavy public action on the mav's. BOL to u tonight sir, but the rockets keep this one close.
