Can you do a bank wire to a Savings account?

don't know, ask. I once asked a credit union, no pun intended, and they said they don't take international bank wires. I only had a saving with them.

Do you not have a checking for your own control, or you can't get one?

Whats the point of getting money sent to you if your gonna send it right back. Save yourself the ** fee's and just leave it up.

I hear you guy. I once opened a checking at Wachovia and they questioned something from Fleet bank from 6 years earlier, that was paid.

Guy, I know it isn't the speediest situation, but atleast w/ the savings, you could have a check sent, cash it, and wait thw 2 weeks or whatever.
I'm going out on a limb here and don't know if your wife works. If that is a concern, having it intercepted and ending up in hot water, I can relate to your concern.

I know you could track things now, but nothing is worse when you expect a check to come when UPS/Fedex normally comes around 2, when your wife is away, working, whatever, but that 1 out of 20 times, they deliver it at 6 when she is there. Sucks. Knowing our gambling situation, even the most creative stories won't work.
