#5If I were you I'd just hedge enough to get your money back on the +3. You could win both, you could win only 1 but you won't lose anything.Comment -

#6I agree with Johon. The bet you already have is +EV by a lot, no need to throw that away on a full blown hedge. Just get back enough to here you wont be too bummed out if the Packers lose and then watch the game and root them onComment -

#7I would move the line to +3 1/2 if you can then play about half as a back up so you will win either way here.Comment -

#10Don't think this land in the 3 area. I would look a little into pitt ml so you have a winner either way. better to take some profit than losing it all.Comment -

#12hedging is never a good idea unless;
the hedge bet is itself +ev
the original bet is too big, meaning a loss will significantly affect your bankrollComment -

#14Hedging is gross, but not as gross as if you needed to hedge on GB to save your butt (like I do). I agree that betting +3 would be pretty solid, or even buying the juice on +3.5 because it could so easily end up on the 3 might be worth it.Comment -

#15i have some cash on gb +800 that i am going to hedge
it would be tough to go this far and actually be BEHIND on the wager
your gap is a little narrower at 150 to win 450 if i am reading that correctly
maybe take pitt +120 for 150 to win 180?
that way you are either up 30 or up 150, still gives you a reason to root for the packers but a steelers win wouldn't be quite as painful

My reason for doing this is simple.I think Pitt. is the side in this match up.
In looking at all the various stats and numbers surrounding the game, the one that I just can not dismiss is that under Tomlin, Pitt. is 41-11 SU when they allow less than 100 yards rushing.I do not think that G.B. will rush for 100 yards.
Right or wrong, that is the way I would play it.Comment -
