The movie was considered a bomb and one of the worst when it came out. I thought it had it moments. I was a big Dice fan back in the day, so I liked it more than your average film watcher.

andrew dice clay had about a 15 minute window of fame. i don't remember why he fell into disfavor with the people who would be his future employers in that industry but he disappeared into obscurity i believe. maybe he's still working small clubs or is dead.

Yeah, haven't heard anything about Dice in the last couple of years. He was on the Stern show trying to convince Artie Lange to go on a comedy tour with him, but it never came to be.

this is the show that "introduced" me to Teri Hatcher, so thanks to Dice for that.

One of the greatest intro's to a comedy skit- 5 minutes of Dice lighting a cigarette, followed by the line- "I got my tongue in this chick's ass"........ classic

Dice still packs them in in Vegas. The movie was not a good use of his talents. For example, Rodney Dangerfield was hilarious and got a big career boost from "Back to School", but many of the flops Rodney was in were just poor choices by him and his management team. Dice made a bad choice and just didn't get a good followup plan.

He would have been great as a "Fonz" like sleuth, less laughs and a little more Vin Diesel type moments.

Reason I read this thread was:

Recently I had a delicate procedure done in my nether regions where I was given some drugs to make me loopy and relaxed. When the cauterization began I could see a cloud of smoke rising down there. I immediately announced "hickory dickory doc, there is smoke coming out of my cok!!"

The nurse lost it and the doc had to tell me to tone it down as he needed her for the finish!!
