own the movie Rounders on DVD and haven't watched it in quite a while until recently and although I'm sure most of you have seen it, I thought I would share one of my favorite gambling quotes of all time from John Turturro's character:
"Stones! you little punk. I'm not playin for the thrill of f***ing victory here. I owe rent. Alimony. Child Support. I play for money. My kids eat. I got stones enough not to chase cards and action or f***ing pipe dreams of winning the World Series on ESPN."
This whole scene is great but the classic line starts at minute 5:00:
