Had a problem with my car, transmission was jumping, only 56000 km on it. Usual place for gas was Esso, far as I know they have a good rep for clean gas. Filled up a few weeks ago at Petro Canada and the problem disappeared. Not only am I trying to always go to the same Petro Can near my home but also the same pump #8.
Are you superstitious about where you buy your gas?

#2A former ex told me a long time ago to put Shell in your car and always turn off your a/c before you turn off your car. I listened and I have 240,000 miles on my car.Comment -

#3Was a part of my superstitions on drives to casinos. Had to make sure I went to the same gas station, same pump and everything. It worked sometimes

#4i just got gas tonight from my favorite gas station, it was $3.05 a gallon. i drove back up the road to my house, looked at the 3 gas stations along the way to make sure my favorite gas station is still my favorite gas station. $3.15, $3.13, and $3.13. so yeah, i like my gas station.Comment -

#5Over here I've heard Shell's gas is dirtier than the competition. I haven't seen proof but I avoid them anyway....Originally posted by seaborneqA former ex told me a long time ago to put Shell in your car and always turn off your a/c before you turn off your car. #10I buy my gas where its the cheapest. The only way any gas is gonna be any different is if they have condensation in their tanks. Never buy gas anywhere that has above ground tanks, but there's not many of them anymoreComment -

#12I am all about getting the best gas mileage. I test the different gas in my area but 9/10 times I get better mileage with Shell. The weird thing is , I get better mileage with Shell with my Benz and better Mileage with Chevron with my Audi....המוסד

#14A while back there was a place near where I lived that got fined several times for watering down their gas. I'm not sure how prevalent that is these days.Originally posted by THE PROFITI buy my gas where its the cheapest. #17You get what you pay for when it comes to gas. Arco for example, is really not good gasoline ot put in your car, despite the fact that it's usually cheaper. It really does make a difference.Comment -
