Obviously you claim your losses on your tax return, then you only pay taxes on the profits. It's kind of a simple accounting principle, I'm really confounded that you didn't know that.

Yeah I am not a fan of the "Land of the Free" fluff... I was playing cards at some boat club and some average idiot female teacher told me "we can play cards in this country because our military gives us the freedom to do so"... I wanted to f*ckin' throw up on her.. I just said "lady give me a break with this freedom garbage.. I have played cards in at least two other countries so get over yourself"... It figured that she was a teacher... Teachers in this country should not be teaching anything...
