No excuses here on my end. Jets lost and i lost taking them. It has been a great playoff for me but today was no good. The jets made two big mistakes in this game. The first one was deferring after the toss which allowed the Steelers to set the tone.( Jets thought they would end that drive quickly) and the second was of course the whole 3rd and 4th down goal situations.

that entire 2nd, 3rd and 4th down debacle on the goal line was some of the worst shit you will ever see, but from the opening drive, it was obvious the pitt had the winning game plan. should be a great super bowl

And the Steelers almost shut down Jets in the first half.

The amazing offense of the Jets couldn't move the ball at will, they couldn't even put points on the board with an 8-minute drive. Steelers had this game all night long. Steelers-3 for 5x and Packers-3 for 6x made this a great weekend.

This game was on the Jets D - their inside LBs were not up to the task of Mendenhall. That RB set the table for Roethlisberger and the Steelers to win.
