No Stamkos, St. Louis or Lecavalier.

It's almost like the coach was trying to lose. I haven't been following the Lightning much this year. Do they regularly use their scrubs for the shootout?

Score 1vs 1 against to goalie is a different think then scoring 5 against 5 or on power play.

Being a stud at Shooutouts/being a stud goal scorer are two completely different things. Dunno bout st.louis but i know Lecalvier isn't great at them either. Hedman hadn't been used much and the other 2 weren't bad. Also it's always worth the coach finding out who can score in the clutch during the shootout so that when they play a more important game (say against the caps) he'll be more sure of where to turn if the first three leave it tied

Just like in soccer, the best guys in a shootout aren't always the top goal scorers.

unless the ref is going to kick the puck to Stamkos for a one-timer he won't score on shootouts like he does in games
