I worked all over Alaska for 5-6 years and flew with Jim Tweto and his other pilots. Everything you see on this show is 100% real. I have flown some flights that I wish I would have stayed home. A couple of times I was holding on and didnt think we were going to make it. Jim flew us at times when we should not have flown and made us feel like we were just driving across town. We also had clear skies that turned bad during flights and made sideways landing due to the wind and snow and rain. Now that I have kids I would not work there with the kind of travel that is required. If you are young and want to make a lot of money and your not scared to work hard, then Alaska is the place to be!

I forgot about flying in the fog until I saw it on this show. It is the worst feeling you can imagine. The closest thing I can thing of is go out in your car on the worst fog day and drive your car as fast as it will go. That is about the same feeling only someone else is driving.Comment -

Flew countless times from Anchorage to Dutch Harbor with a few white knuckle rides from time to time.
For excitement the flight from Dutch Harbor to Akutan in The Goose was worth every penny.
