Not sure why all the hate for Atlanta. In baseball we made the playoffs this year. In basketball we are up there with the Heat and Magic without any superstars. In football we made the playoffs. In hockey we are probably making the playoffs.

Lets take New York for example (the biggest losers in the world).

The problem with Atlanta residents is most of them are Yankees and they don't adopt the local teams when the emigrate here from their Yankee towns. If you plan to live here for quite some time you need to become a fan of the local teams. I have a neighbor that has moved here 15 years ago and he doesn't go to the Braves games so he can watch the Yankees. Another one only goes to Thrashers games when the Red Wings are in town.
