MLB should change to a league system similar to European soccer where the bottom teams are relegated to AAA and the top AAA teams are promoted to the big show. That way if owners choose not to spend money, then they will eventually be relegated. Plus it will make for dramatic baseball in the last month when teams are fighting to stay in the MLB.

A great trade by Toronto; getting rid of Wells who is now a below average centerfielder and a what will most likely be a slightly above average hitter and getting back servicable players is an amazing move by Anthopolous.

Good trade for Toronto. They are building up a team for the next few years.

Buck was gonna take like 5-8 mill a year, they let him leave. Overbay would take a couple of mill also, now they trade Vernon Wells who hasn't helped the club much. Jose Bautista breakout season really saved those guys money.
