Roseanne was a great show, then toward the end they won the lottery, found out Roseanne's Mom was a lesbian (wtf) and D.J. started dating some REALLY ugly chick and all they did was talk about obscure foreign films. Just awful at the end.

Last 2-3 years of Family Guy have been just terrible also.

Agree the show started out so great and I feel it has gone off in a weird direction. It used to have such smart writing.

I like Seinfeld throughout I don't think it went to shit.

Entourage needs to end, and glad it is. It has almost turned into a drama after last season.
The formula for the show is getting old and played out.

The little kids always kill the shows. The little kid did it in Family Ties, Different Strokes, Married With Children, and The Brady Bunch. Whoever put the "add the little kid in" rule to revive TV shows must be a habitual gambler because the same plan loses everytime.

still watched andy griffith every chance I get. I always hated Mash never watched one episode. Alda always rubbed me the wrong way and that dude with the dress makes me sick

Disagree with Mash.
When Stevenson and Rogers were with the show, it was more gag orientated.
When that pair left, alda went more behind the scenes and the show was more story orientated, but the show remained solid throughout.

IMO MASH went downhill after they tried to turn a movie into a tv show that couldn't work due to broadcast restrictions in that era...

• Survivor - couldn't watch it after season one

House started out pretty strong, but the episodes seem to follow the same plot formula.

Good Times sucked after the father died.

Cosby Show wasn't the same after the kids grew up and they had to bring in the little girl, grandchildren, etc.

Married With Children sucked after the new kid ("Seven") came in, as was mentioned. It may have actually peaked even earlier than that, with the Sam Kinison episode.

Roseanne was great early on, but already starting to go bad pre-lottery, then it just became a joke after that.

In Living Color started to go downhill at the end when they brought in new cast members, like that Asian guy and the other blonde. I think Damon Wayans left also, don't remember for sure..

Dukes of Hazzard was never the same after the year of the imitation Bo and Luke, "Coy" and "Vance". The when Bo and Luke came back, I liked the excuse that they were just gone for a year driving NASCAR. hahaha

Simpsons after about season 14.

Three's Company after Suzanne Somers left. (Although that show was kind of borderline to begin with.)

Not sure whether Three Stooges post-Curly belongs here. Certainly the post-Shemp years.

Might be in the minority here but I thought the show "Everybody Loves Raymond" was goood from start to finish.

Pretty much all successful sitcoms go on for a year or two too long.
Both of the above are good examples.

Friends was the same and Frasier, Scrubs and Two and a Half Men are both terrible ATM.

Only reason season nine existed was out of loyalty to Richards, Dreyfus, and Alexander.
They finally got their real big pay day that year.

Think of the season nine episodes, The Puerto Rican flag episode sucked, Frogger was just OK, the one with the van was just brutal, they had two clip shows that year............

My all time favorite show, bar none.
His peers say D'Onofrio is the best character actor in the business today.
He's my favorite actor.

Now for the good news, Wolf and the boys are bringing back D'onofrio with Erbe, later this year.

Go figure, who would have thought that show was doomed with Goldblum.
But NBC/USA was losing "Monk" that very same season, and they though Goldblum and his zen ways could fill the void that Monk left.

Golden Girls. The show didn't change all that much but when JJ Coug and Bobby stopped watching it with me it pretty much sucked to watch on my own.
